Lehigh Valley Fans Cheer on IronPigs and Celebrate Cats at Caturday Game
Brave Fans and Feline Friends Enjoy the Night
Despite the chilly temperatures and dreary weather, Lehigh Valley cat owners braved the elements to cheer on the IronPigs and celebrate their furry companions at the team's annual Caturday game. The event invited fans to bring their leashed, harnessed, or crated cats to the ballpark, where they could enjoy a night of baseball and feline festivities.
Purr-fect Evening at Coca-Cola Park
As the IronPigs took to the field, fans erupted in cheers, waving signs and holding up their cats for all to see. The crowd sang "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" with a feline twist, replacing the words "take me out to the ball game" with "take meowt to the ball game."
In between innings, fans participated in cat-themed activities, including a pet costume contest and a "meow-off" competition. The event also featured a special appearance by the Lehigh Valley Humane Society, which offered information on cat adoption and pet care.
