Verstappen Dominates Monaco Grand Prix

Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing took a dominant victory in the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday, wresting the championship lead from Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton. Verstappen led from start to finish, controlling the race from the front and setting the fastest lap in the process.

Hamilton Finishes Second

Hamilton finished second, 9.135 seconds behind Verstappen. The seven-time world champion made a late pit stop for fresh tires but was unable to close the gap to Verstappen. Valtteri Bottas of Mercedes finished third, 14.170 seconds behind Verstappen.

Verstappen's victory is his third of the season and gives him a four-point lead over Hamilton in the drivers' championship standings. Red Bull also extended its lead in the constructors' championship, holding a 26-point advantage over Mercedes.
